The Fifth Trial of Aql is located in theHagga Riftzone to the east of the map inDune: Awakening. You’ll need to enter a large cave system which you can’t miss, and the Trial entrance is located right at the bottom of the cave. This can be a bit of a nightmare to enter and exit, so make sure you have a Suspensor Belt to quickly get down without taking fall damage and the Shigawire Claw to help you climb out of the cave when you’ve finished the trial.
The Fifth Trial of Aql is a puzzle-platforming trial where you need to avoid the sandworm.
Fifth Trial of Aql Location
The Fifth Trial of Aql location is marked on the map asThe Hidden Test.This area is located to the east of the Eastern Vermillius Gap, right on the edge of the map. You won’t be able to see the name of the cave until you enter it and go to the bottom of the underground structure.
Whenever you enter a new area, we recommend you take a Survey Launcher and a Survey Probe to uncover the entire map.
The cave is guarded by a couple of enemy NPCs which you’ll need to deal with before entering. Walk into the cave entrance and follow the internal paths to find the spice altar - there are some chest rooms inside, also.
Fifth Trial Walkthrough
The Fifth trial has you avoiding the sandworm by climbing up various structures and using aThumperto distract the worm. Place the Thumper underneath the spice harvester and then climb up the platform to the right. It’s a relatively straightforward trial.
