When you start playingFate Trigger, the first thing you’ll notice in this Battle Royale is that each agent has some abilities, and you may use these from the very start of the game. For every character, you have a passive, an active, and an ultimate ability. Of course, you need to charge up the last one before using it.
Apart from these abilities, everything else you use in combat is found on the map itself. However, some of these Awakeners are much stronger than the others due to their abilities, so here are the best ones you can use for assured victory.
Fate Trigger is currently in Beta, and everything in this tier list is subject to change.
Basis Of This Tier List
Fate Trigger has a total of ten charactersdivided into the Assault, Support, Recon, and Defender roles. As you can guess from the role names, each one has a specific part to play. However, these characters can generally be divided into three tiers based on their usefulness in their role and the game in general:
S-Tier
This tier represents the best characters in the game, and you can get asignificant advantage over your opponents with them. They’re generally good from the moment you land on the map up until the game ends.
A-Tier
The characters in this tier are still great picks, but theydon’t have as much impact as the characters in the S-tier. This is usually due to their abilities not being as good or only being beneficial to them.
B-Tier
Finally, this tier involves characters that can make use of their abilities, but aregenerally not that effective when in combat.
All S-Tier Characters
Your entire team will get ahuge benefit by having these heroes in combat, increasing your chances of victory immensely:
Camille
Support
This character is undoubtedly far ahead of any other character in the game. She can remotely revive teammates and heal them constantly, while also healing the entire team with her ultimate.
Eos
Assault
Eos is the best duelist in the game as she can regain some energy and acharge for her active skill every time she knocks down or eliminatesan enemy, letting you jump all over the enemy squad.
Huxley
Recon
Huxley can not only create a huge smoke cloud to prevent your team from getting attacked but alsoreveal the exact position of the enemies, which can be extremely crucial.
Kira
Defender
You’ll find yourself in open quite a few times while playing Fate Trigger, and Kira canprevent you from getting gunned downin these areas by having constant cover-on-demand.
All A-Tier Characters
These characters can still be phenomenal in the game, especially if you’re playing with random teammates. However, they don’t perform as well when it comes to team synergies:
Soarwynne
This character’s ultimate can behighly useful in getting out of a pinch, but she’s not very effective outside of that.
Nase
While Nase has a great quality of life of being able to make herself and her teammates move faster, she generally doesn’t contribute a lotin battle.
Ryoin
Ryoin is quite a selfish character, and while he can be good at defeating enemies through smokes, hisabilities aren’t as effective as Eos'.
Mindy
Mindy feels like one of the greatest characters to play since she can see loot through walls and call in airdrops. While she’s quite close to the S-tier, herteleport taking ages leaves her with no utilityin the actual combat.
All B-Tier Characters
Finally, this tier belongs to characters that will often make youfeel like you don’t have any abilities at all. Unfortunately, one of the coolest characters in the game falls under here:
Xiva
Xiva has one of the coolest-looking designs and abilities in the game, but her meteor shower is very easy to avoid and the fire walldoesn’t do nearly enough damage to the enemiesto make them think twice before going through.
Cynric
Cynric can create various types of shields to prevent bullets and projectiles from getting through, butthese won’t help you get away and will only delay your defeat, which doesn’t feel very fun or effective.
