As is always the case during Summer, the past week has been absolutely massive for gaming news. We’ve already had aton of reveals during PlayStation’s State of Playand theSummer Game Fest Showcase, but things just got even busier thanks to Xbox.
Just like it does every year,Xbox had its own showcase to focus on the games that it’s bringing to the table in 2025 and beyond. While this stream wasn’t as ridiculously late for us UK folks as SGF and State of Play, we’re still bringing you a rundown of everything that was revealed at the showcase.

The Outer Worlds 2 Is Launching October 29
Kicking off the show was a brand-new trailer forThe Outer Worlds 2, which came as a bit of a surprise considering it’s getting its own dedicated showcase right after the Xbox one.Still, we got a nice new look at the gameand its “power of capitalism” vibes.
High On Life 2 Revealed
In a very strange first world premiere,High On Lifeis getting a sequel! The trailer looks very much like the first game, so expect talking weapons and plenty of weirdness. It’s also coming this Winter, so it’s not far off at all.
And no,it doesn’t look like Justin Roiland is returning. Surprise surprise.
Resonance: A Plague Legacy Revealed
This one wasn’t a surprise considering it leaked before the show, but a new Plague Tail,Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacyhas now been officially confirmed to be coming in 2026. Rat lovers, here’s the game for you.
ROG Xbox Ally X And Hollow Knight: Silksong Gameplay
We didn’t really expect to see any Xbox hardware at the show but that wasquickly proven wrong with the unveiling of ROG Xbox Ally X, which also gave us a brand new look atHollow Knight: Silksonggameplay. And yep, that was really it for Silksong.
The Blood Of The Dawnwalker Gameplay Reveal
The Blood of the Dawnwalkerfinally got a proper gameplay reveal andan announcement of a 2026 release date. Lots of hype around this one, so it was nice to get a little update on it.
Super Meat Boy 3D Reveal
One of the coolest reveals of the showcase was forSuper Meat Boy 3D, which is coming to all consoles in Early 2026.It looks like the perfect way to continue the series- count us in!
Ninja Gaiden 4 Is Coming October 21
Ah yes, the one we were all waiting for.Ninja Gaiden 4 got a new gameplay trailer that also confirmed it’s coming on October 21. Not long to go until we reunite with Ryu Hayabusa!
Indiana Jones And The Great Circle DLC
Even though it hasn’t really been that long since The Great Circle released,we’re already getting an expansion later this year in September. It’s called Order of the Giants.
Game Freak’s Beast Of Reincarnation Is Coming 2026
Game Freak’s Project Bloom is now titledBeast of Reincarnation, and it’scoming at some point in 2026 for all consoles. It’s very different from what Game Freak is known for, but it’s an interesting next step for the studio.
Clockwork Revolution Gets A Big Gameplay Showcase
One of Xbox’s most anticipated games isClockwork Revolution, and we just got a brand new look at it. Big fan of the “pissed-off doll” that popped up, which I’m certainly feeling since the only release window given was “in due time”.
Grounded 2 Revealed
In a very surprise reveal,Obsidian’s next game is a sequel to Grounded that is coming “this Summer”. It’ll be launching in game preview on July 29.
Cronos: The New Dawn Is Coming Fall 2025
Bloober’s next big game after nailing the Silent Hill 2 remake just got shown off with a new trailer that has me convinced Bloober is going to do it all over again. We also got confirmation that it’s coming this Fall.
Don’t Nod’s Next Game Is A Space Game Called Aphelion
Don’t Nod is working on a lot of things right now, but one of its next games is a space-themed adventure following a stranded astronaut. It’ll be launching in 2026.
There Are No Ghosts At The Grand Is Coming Next Year
Definitely one of the weirder announcements of the show had talking cats, house renovation, and plenty of spookiness.There Are No Ghosts At The Grandwill be launching in 2026.
Mudang Two Hearts Revealed
If you were looking for a Splinter Cell remake announcement, well this was the next best thing.Mudang Two Heartsseems like an interesting mix of stealth and action, so keep an eye for it next year.
Planet Of Lana 2 Announced
Here was a nice surprise,Planet of Lanais getting a sequel that launches at some point next year. We got a decent look at its gameplay too, which should be very familiar to anyone who played the first Planet of Lana.
Solo Levelling Arise: Overdrive
Solo Levelling is getting another game in the form of Arise Overdrive, an action RPG that’s coming at the end of this year.
Animo
Animolooks very similar to Pokemon (or Palworld if you prefer), which we’ll know for sure when it launches in 2026.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Are Coming To Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4
How do you make a great game even better? Add the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, of course! Mikey was shown off as part of the roster, and we also got a first look at Bam Margera in-game. The Foundry demo is coming today too, which is a nice surprise.
At Fate’s End
The next game from the Spiritfarer team isAt Fate’s End, which is yet another game set for a 2026 release. It looks very charming, though, so it’ll hopefully be worth the wait.
Gears Of War Reloaded Gameplay
Not much new here since it’s just a remaster ofGears of War, but it was still good to see it in action.A cross-platform beta was also announced after the showcase.
Persona 4 Revival Announced
We never saw it coming. Actually we did, butPersona 4’s remake, titled Persona 4 Revival is indeed real and we got a very brief look at it. That’s all we needed, though.
Invincible Vs
Now we’re cooking!Invincible is getting its own tag-fightercalledInvincible Vs. It’ll launch in 2026, and my god, I’ll be there day one. The trailer also confirmed that the Amazon voice cast are involved,which is very exciting.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake And 16 Are Coming To Xbox
The long-awaited ports are finally coming soon. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming this Fall, while Final Fantasy 16 has just been shadowdropped.
