WithDestiny 2’sEdge of Fate expansion, the weapon sandbox is undergoing some major changes. Sandbox changes, gear tiers, and new weapon archetypes are going to massively shake up the meta for this expansion cycle. Rocket-assisted pulse rifles, bows that behave similarly to Wish-Ender, and even heavy ammo crossbows are up for grabs this expansion.
In this guide, we’ll be going over every weapon that was released with The Edge of Fate expansion, everything from playlist gear to new Exotics. We’ll also be covering perk pools available on each weapon to help you decide which weapons are worth farming first.
Updated Jul 22, 2025, by Charles Burgar:We’ve updated this guide to include every new weapon added in The Desert Perpetual raid. Some weapons also turned out to be tied to the new Arms Week event this expansion, so we’ve updated this guide to include a dedicated Arms Week section. Perk pools that were missing were also added.
Edge Of Fate Exotics
The Edge of Fate hasfournew Exotics to chase.New Land Beyondwas technically added during Heresy, available through a pre-order bonus. This is a reworked version of the first game’s No Land Beyond, a 72RPM sniper rifle that deals immense precision damage. In Destiny 2, it uses special ammo instead of primary, but its damage now scales based on headshots landed. At 20 stacks, its damage is comparable toIzanagi’s Burden.
Third Iterationis a Vex-themed scout rifle that fires a spread of Void projectiles. If you aim the weapon for a second before firing, all three projectiles will merge into one, resulting in a significantly stronger shot. Landing a precision kill this way will grantinvisibility and truesightfor a short duration.
Graviton Spikeis a 150 RPM Arc hand cannon that can switch to a Stasis shotgun at will. Getting kills with one mode will empower the other, causing additional effects to happen on kill—Arc will trigger lightning strikes; Stasis will spawn a crystal and trigger a small explosion.
Whirling Ovationis the raid Exotic from The Desert Perpetual, a Strand rocket launcher that is effectively this game’s version of a fuel rod cannon. Holding the trigger will charge a high-damage projectile that deals immense damage. Fully-charged projectiles detonate for massive StrandandSolar damage. Hitting targets with other weapons will ramp up the charge rate of this gun, making it perfect for hotswap loadouts.
Kinetic
Exotic Perk
The Master:Scoring precision hits increases this weapon’s damage until the wielder’s defeat.
Massively increases ammo reserves.
Trait #1
Bullseye Bolster:Landing a precision hit substantially increases this weapon’s aim assist, handling, reload speed, and stability for a short time.
Aiming down sights narrows the spread.
Trait
Amalgamation Rounds:Aiming for a short period without firing compresses the spread into a single, high-density projectile. Damaging a target with this shot marks them.
Marked targets receive more damage from this weapon. Precision kills and eliminating marked targets grant invisibility and truesight.
Arc and Stasis
Temporal Manipulation:Hold reload to swap between Arc and Stasis mode.
Final blows and precision hits overcharge the opposing mode to enable additional effects.
Temporal Anomaly:While overcharged, each mode expends a portion of overcharge for additional effects on final blows or precision hits.
Arc calls down lightning strikes; Stasis creates an explosion and a formation of Stasis crystals.
Charged projectiles have a delayed Solar payload.
Anticipation:The charge speed of this weapon’s next shot slowly increases over time.
Anticipation builds more quickly as you deal more damage with other weapons.
Kepler Weapons
There are six new weapons to earn while completing activities on Kepler, this expansion’s new destination. All of these weapons load a micro-rocket projectile if you aim at a target for a short duration, similar to the weapons from Neomuna.

Arms Week Weapons
The Edge of Fate has added Arms Week, a new event that refreshes the Gunsmith’s stock with some experimental wares. This includes weapons with entirely new archetypes, weapons with origin traits previously exclusive to dungeons, and strange perk combinations that you seldom see in Destiny.
Arms Week should begin starting July 29. The reward shop from the event should contain these weapons. If not all weapons are present, they most likely rotate with each Arms Week event.
Origin Trait - Tenacity

The Desert Perpetual Raid Weapons
Every new raid in Destiny 2 has six Legendary weapons to chase and a new Exotic. There aresix Legendary weapons to grab, with more coming in the Ash and Iron update in September.
