Every planet is home to its own unique lifeforms. While Zenithian Rift may seem like an icy world at first glance, parts of it are volcanic, while others consist of towering mountains and floating sky isles. If you’re looking to find and capture its bizarre creatures, this guide will help you get started.
All Zenithian Rift Creatures And Where To Catch Them
The tables below provide the location, behavior, and other details for every creature found on the planet Zenithian Rift. For the capturable ones, we’ve also included strategies to help you catch them. Since Zenithian Rift isn’t an especially large planet, you’ll inevitably encounter most of these creatures during your exploration.
Description
Location
This creature is found in the swamp-like,poison gas-filled area of Summit of Ruin, alongside other Toxwins. However, this Alpha version tends tostay near the small cave-like areabelow the teleporter.
Appearance
In appearance, it resembles a penguin but in a more unsettling form, with three large eyes. It is larger than regular Toxwins.
Behavior
Unlike the regular Toxwins, it is not passive. It engages in close combat and emits a poisonous cloud while fighting.
How To Catch
To capture this creature, you must stagger it. Its weak spot is locatedon the underside of its belly.
These creatures are found in The Depths of Trrn.
They closely resemble Crushers in appearance, but their skin is a different color—blue. What sets them apart the most is their armor. They have volcanic-looking armor covering their arms and back.
These creatures are highly hostile and will charge at you as soon as they spot you. They attack by slamming their two arms together in a powerful strike. Occasionally, they perform a roar-like action as well.
To capture these creatures, you’ll need tobreak their armor with a stomp.Then quickly move behind them andshoot under their tailto stagger them. Once staggered, you’re able to proceed to capture them.
Clawbarella is the boss of this planet and is located deep within the Depths of Trnn. To reach her,you’ll need the Toxic Deshocker upgrade, and fighting this boss is unavoidable if you want to progress through the main quests.
It’s not possible to see Clawbarella’s full body, as part of it remains submerged in lava. She somewhat resembles a Crusher, but she’s extremely large, wears makeup, and has a crown-like structure on her head. Her body is pink, and she has claw-like hands.

A small number of these creatures can be found in Brrrt’s Frozen Grotto, while larger groups are locatedaround the frozen lake in Frip’s Big Chill.
They are brutish creatures with antennae. Their heads and joints are blue, while the tough exoskeleton covering their bodies and their arms are red.
These creatures are hostile and will attack as soon as they see you. Despite their bulky appearance, they are not very slow. They will charge toward you and attempt to strike by slamming both arms together. Occasionally, they also perform a roar-like action.
To capture these creatures,move quickly behind them and shoot beneath their tailto stagger them. Once staggered, you’ll be able to capture them.
You’ll find one of these creatures onone of the mid-level platforms in Bilodeau’s Floating Isles.It flies around near Iciclons and Lavacons.
It resembles a mix between a butterfly and a moth. Its wings are purple with yellow eye-like patterns on them.
These creatures are not hostile. They don’t travel alone and instead fly near other creatures, healing them. The creatures they heal don’t become invincible, but they do become a bit harder to kill.
To capture them, no extra steps are required. There’s no need to stagger them beforehand.
They are found in small numbers on the floating icy platforms above the Crash Site. However, their most common location is Bilodeau’s Floating Isles, where they frequently appear on the highest floating isles in the region.
They are short, white, and fluffy creatures—resembling mini yetis—with very angry facial expressions.
They are highly aggressive. Once they spot you,they charge at you rapidly and explodeafter a short delay. For this reason, it’s important to kill them before they can reach you.
Capturing them is difficult due to their fast movement and tendency to explode quickly. To successfully catch one,sneak up on it and spray water with your hose.This will stagger it, allowing you to capture it. If there are multiple nearby, others may explode while you’re trying to catch one, disrupting the process—so it’s smarter to focus on isolated targets.
These creatures are foundin the Plyxors Shaftregion and nowhere else on this planet.
They resemble trees and are light purple in color, with tops that look like mushrooms. They are stationary and non-hostile.
They remain stationary. When you approach them with a Kiwi Slug from the same area, they open their mouths. If youthrow a Kiwi Slug into their mouths, their branches disappear, allowing you to access specific parts of the region.
You can find them on the icy platforms above the Crash Site, especially near the final platform. Additionally, this creature frequently appearsin the Summit of Ruinand Bilodeau’s Floating Isles regions.
It resembles a blue version of the Lavacon and is a flying creature that shoots ice projectiles.
It is aggressive and fires single or double ice projectiles from a distance. These projectiles can freeze you, temporarily restricting your movement, and you’ll need to wiggle free to escape the ice.
You don’t need to stagger Iciclons to capture them—they can be caught easily.
Like other aquatic creatures on this planet, it can be foundin the northern parts of Chikit’s Pool, swimming alone.
This underwater creature is small, yellow, and resembles a mix between a squid and a jellyfish.
It swims around peacefully and has no aggressive traits.
These creatures are found in the Plyxors Shaft region and nowhere else on this planet.
They remain stationary and do not react to your presence. You’ve likely seen them before on the planet Stellaris Prime. Here as well, you canuse them to throw into the mouths of Fungal Mawsto solve the local puzzle.
They are small, pink, and cute creatures that resemble slugs, as their name suggests.
You can find these flying creatures on the icy platforms above the Crash Site. They are also quitecommon in Bilodeau’s Floating Isles.These creatures can also be found in The Depths of Trrn and in the upper areas of Plyxors Shaft.
They are the orange-colored versions of Iciclons, with slightly thinner wings compared to them.
Behavior-wise, these flying creatures are just as aggressive as Iciclons. you’re able to often see them emerging from Flaming Egg Sacs. They attack by launching flaming projectiles, which don’t have any additional effects beyond damage.
To capture Lavacons, no extra steps are needed. There’s no need to stagger them beforehand.
This underwater creature has a long, slender body and slightly resembles a swordfish.
It swims peacefully and has no aggressive traits.
There are several places where you can find Rolly Pollys. One of them is Brrrt’s Frozen Grotto. They can also be foundnear the frozen lake in Frip’s Big Chill.Additionally, it’s possible to encounter them in Bilodeau’s Floating Isles as well. They spawn from Trickle Spawning Mounds.
These creatures are small, pink, and spiky—resembling sea urchins. They move quite quickly.
Despite their small size, they are aggressive. When they see you, they start rolling toward you.Bullets won’t kill them, but you can take them out with methods like Bombegranates.
To catch them, you need tohit them with your Whip, which will stagger them. Once staggered, you can capture them.
They can be found northwest of the teleporter in the Frip’s Big Chill area. However, you’ll find a lot more of themnear the teleporter in the Bilodeau’s Floating Islesregion.
Simian Puffers are short, round, white-furred creatures. They have bulging eyes, large ears, and monkey-like faces.
These creatures are very docile and won’t attack you. However, if you attack one, they will group up and retaliate, though they’re still not very strong.
They’re easy to capture and don’t need to be staggered beforehand.
This underwater creature is small, yellow, and resembles a mix between a squid and a jellyfish. While it looks quite similar to a Jellyrube, its swimming pattern is different, and up close, you can spot its eyes.
In terms of behavior, it swims calmly and has no aggressive traits.
