Hangin' On Roof Roadis a challenge course inDonkey Kong Bananzathat can be found at thebeginning of the Lagoon Layer in SL100. It’s located on a hillabove the Reservoir Hills Teeleportspot, which you can easily reach by climbing the mountains to the left after fast-traveling to the area.
As the name implies, this level requires you to grab onto a ceiling andmaneuver around obstacles and enemiesto make it to the finish line. To make the task even trickier, there arethree hidden Banandium Gemsscattered across the stage that you should look for to make it easier to earn stat points for new abilities and upgrades.
Where To Find The First Banandium Gem
You can find the first Banandium Gem on theplatform beneath the first and second roof pathways. All you need to do ismove past the first couple of enemies and the moving wallsbefore you can pick up the first prize.
The moving walls will often have holes in them that you can use to keep yourself from letting go of the ceiling. You can also just hit Y to punch and destroy most of them.
Where To Find The Second Banandium Gem
The second Banandium Gem is thehardest to find in the entire course. When yougrab onto the second pathway, use theholes in the walls to go leftonce you’re about halfway down. Then, either use the holes in the wall or punch your way through them to finda hidden pathway on the right. You will find the collectible hiddenbehind a breakable wallafter you drop from the secret route.
Where To Find The Third Banandium Gem
The final Banandium Gem is located at thevery end of the course, beside the barrel that launches you back to the Lagoon Layer. Simply clear both of the pathways to cross the finish line andclaim your third and final rewardfor Hangin' on Roof Road.
How To Complete Hangin' On Roof Road
Once the level begins, walk up the ramp in front of you, head to the right, andjump to grab onto the ceilingwith the iron grate. You can either wait for the moving walls to pass before climbing past them, or you can just punch them to get them out of the way. Also,look out for the enemy here, which can also be taken out with a punch.
At the end of the first path, you’ll findthree spinning walls and another enemy. Try tolure the enemy toward youso you can deal with it first, thenmove through the holes in the wallsto reach a platform where you can catch your breath.
The second pathway has more moving walls, but they arelarger than before, and the holes are in different spotsfor each one. There is no need to try to make it across this section in one go.Take your time, look for the holes you’re able to let a wall pass you without it knocking you off, and you should be able toreach the end of the course without any issues.
