Yes, it might be July, but it’s never too early to start planning for Christmas. Particularly if you want to have any of Hallmark’s signature video game ornaments hanging from your tree come the holidays. Some of gaming’s most iconic characters, items, and even consoles have been turned into officially licensed tree ornaments by Hallmark, and 2025’s new additions are available to buy starting today.

As usual, Hallmark has got a lot of bases covered. Whether you likePokemon,Zelda,Halo, orMinecraft, there’s something among the new assortment of ornaments for you. However, there is a clear winner when it comes to the biggest and best ornament among Hallmark’s holiday offerings this year, and that’s its Mario Super Star.

Hallmark’s 2025 video game ornaments are here with Mario, Pokemon, Minecraft, and more represented

Unlike pretty much all of its other video game ornaments, the Mario Star is designed to go on top of the tree rather than be nestled among its branches. It will quite literally be the star of the show on any tree it adorns, and it does more than just look good. Like the Stars Mario has been collecting for decades to make him briefly invincible, Hallmark’s star ornament lights up and plays music. Presumably the theme that plays when you get a star in a Mario game, but the listing doesn’t specify.

The only reason you might opt for a smaller, less flashy option from the list of new arrivals is the price. The Star being so big and so interactive means it ranks up there as one of the most expensive ornaments Hallmark has available. The Super Star ornament costs $92.99. The good news is that the rest of this year’s ornaments don’t cost anywhere close to that, and there are a lot of great designs joining the collection.

Hopping on the unbelievable amount of hype generated by A Minecraft Movie, the confused-looking pink sheep has been turned into an ornament. A very accurate depiction of the animal from the film, or for those who prefer their Minecraft ornaments to be pulled from the games, there’s a snowy tundra polar bears ornament, or a set of three ornaments featuring Alex, Steve, and blocky arctic fox.

As always, there are quite a few new Pokemon offerings. Pikachu is back again, but this time it’s waving, or if you are dead set on the ornament being Christmas-themed, then there’s a Rowlet wearing a Santa hat. For Mario fans who got excited about the Super Star but aren’t willing to part with $93, today’s drops also include Elephant Mario from Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

You can find the full list of every single video game-themed ornament released exclusively at Hallmark today, along with how much they cost and links that will take you directly to their store pages, below.
