If you’ve beatenElden Ring Nightreign’s toughest challenge –finding a third friend for your party– the rest of the bosses may not be too hard to maneuver. While anofficial duos mode is coming at some point, those who’ve managed to find a third have been steadily making their way through the game.

If you’re still struggling, though, the community has found a new way to make boss fights trivial. It all revolves around a new relic called the Grand Luminous Scene. This relic has a unique trait that makes your attack power more powerful after every evergaol prisoner you defeat. Sounds good; but it’s only when you do the math that you understand how broken it is.

Grand Luminous Scene Relic Is Making Nightreign Bosses Easy To Beat

As spotted byGamesRadar+, the Elden Ring Nightreign community has figured out justhow much of an attack boost the Grand Luminous Scene gives youafter defeating an evergaol prisoner. You get a five percent boost to your attack every time you defeat one of them, and it stacks. So the strategy revolves around beating the weaker evergaol bosses and progressing to the tougher ones, and then eventually proceed to the more powerful Nightlords.

What makes the strategy so great is that you may take your time with it. The attack boost you get does not have a time limit, and stays stacked up for your entire run. So, you and your party can go around slaying lesser foes in preparation forthe new Everdark Sovereigns.

However, given how vague FromSoftware’s descriptions usually are. There is still some confusion regarding the stacking. “What DOES work (to my knowledge) is defeating many gaols, which continues to increase your attack power for each gaol multiplicatively,” noted one comment. “What DOES NOT work (to my knowledge) is to bring 2 relics with that effect on it, each gaol will still only give the attack power as if you had only one relic with that effect equipped.”

“I used to do like 1 evergaol per game with randoms but now I try to do 3-5 and the damage increase is crazy,” pointed out another. “Plus I didn’t realize how easy it is to hit level 15 with evergaols, you don’t even need to go to the castle. Just clear out evergaols and mini bosses in between on day 1, then day 2 clear out the shifting earth.
