Elden Ring Nightreignis unlike any other FromSoftware title. While it retains the aesthetic and feel of its predecessor,Elden Ring, Nightreign evolves the action into an online, roguelike formula, and just a few weeks after the game’s release,FromSoftwareis set to differentiate things even further.
Starting from today, Nightreign will be receiving a range of new, tougher bosses, called “Everdark Sovereigns”, for Nightfarers to take down, the first of which is available now.
Adel, Baron Of The Night, Is The First Boss Introduced In Elden Ring Nightreign’s New Event
Typically, new enemies are only added to FromSoftware games as part of larger paid DLC packs. Elden Ring saw it withShadow of the Erdtree, Bloodborne withThe Old Hunters, and Dark Souls 3 withAshes of Ariandeland The Ringed City, to name a few. Nightreign is bucking that trend, as seven new bosses will be coming to the game for a limited time.
Following reports online that players had been encountering a new boss, Bandai Namcoofficially confirmedthat a new, limited-time event would be taking place in Elden Ring Nightreign. This event will see seven new Everdark Sovereigns appear over the coming weeks and months.
These new bosses “are extremely challenging and pose an even greater threat to the Nightfarerswith new moves and increased power,” says Bandai Namco in its announcement.
The event, which is live now, will feature a new version ofGaping Jaw. The Nightlord has received a typical FromSoftware name: Adel, Baron of the Night, and it will appear between 10 pm ET on June 18 and 9:59 pm on June 26.
Following Adel, Bandai and FromSoft confirmed thatSentient PestandDarkdrift Knightwould soon receive Everdark Sovereign versions, withTricephalos,Augur,Equilibrious Beast, andFissure in the Fogadded to the game at a later date.
Anybody brave enough to tackle and beat these Nightlords will receive a new currency, Sovereign Sigils, which can be traded for “special relics and other items.”
