Elden Ring Nightreignhas a bunch of random events that can happen to spice up your runs, whether it be a kidnapping by Augur, or a random Eye of Sauron popping up to spread madness to everyone in your party.Shifting Earth is arguably the event that matters the most though, giving players extremely valuable rewards for those that brave the portion of the map that is altered.

While Shifting Earth events can be extremely lucrative, they also appear to be extremely rare. You’ll be plopped into the standard version of Limveld most of the time, and you can go tens of hours without seeing any form of Shifting Earth at all, even after beating Nightlords. It’s pretty disappointing too, as these areas are easily some of the most fun and challenging places to traverse.

Elden Ring Nightreign Fans Are Getting Frustrated With The Lack Of Shifting Earth Events

These events are so rare that Elden Ring Nightreign fans are starting to get irritated with how little they pop up.In a new post on the Elden Ring subreddit, a user called Stalloss argues that there should be items in the game that act as a manual way to ensure that a Shifting Earth event happens on your next run, and it’s a fairly popular suggestion.

One user called CMSnake72 argues that there’s little to do with Murk once you’ve acquired all the skins, so Nightreign should introduce consumable items that you can purchase from the Jar Bazzaar that guarantee one of the game’s Shifting Earth events, claiming that it would also be nice to have “something to buy after you buy the unlockables”.

Other users are explaining how they need these Shifting Earth events to spawn for achievements, but are stuck waiting for them, while another user says that being able to deactivate them by sleeping, but there being no way to activate them, is “really stupid”. It’s also pretty much impossible to line up Shifting Earth events with Nightlords that are weak to certain elements, meaning some benefits they offer can feel a little useless.

We know that FromSoftware is planning to update Elden Ring Nightreign in the future, promising harder bosses and the highly-requested duos mode, so here’s hoping that the frequency of Shifting Earth events is something that’s on the list of things to tweak.
