Summary

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s upcoming Daima DLC is finally adding a costume that fans have been asking for since the game first launched nearly a whole decade ago.

Considering how long Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been going on for now, it’s a little wild to think that there are still some features, mechanics, and inclusions that haven’t been implemented yet. Some of them, such as new races and forms, are pretty big ones that arelikely to be saved for a potential third game, but there are also a lot of small details that have flown by the wayside for eight years.

Luckily, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 also isn’t showing any signs of slowing down in the near future, and actually has a bunch of content and updates planned for the next year and a bit. One of those updates is coming in a few days and introduces even more characters and skills fromDragon Ball Daima.

If You’ve Been Waiting 8 Years To Dress Up As Cell Saga Vegeta In Xenoverse 2, Your Time Has Come

Super Saiyan 4 Is Still M.I.A. Though

Yesterday,Bandai Namco shared a trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s Daima DLC, which is introducing Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta as playable characters. You’d expect those two to be the main events considering how popular those forms have become, but fans have found something even more interesting.

As pointed out by Twitter user SLOplays, the Daima DLC also includes a few new costumes for Time Patrollers, including one that fans have been requesting for eight years - Vegeta’s battle armour. That’s right, one of the most iconic costumes in all of Dragon Ballhas weirdly not been a part of Xenoverse 2 for all this time, something that’s finally changing with the DLC.

There is a Time Patroller suit that’s similar to Vegeta’s Saiyan armour, but it’s not quite the same as the real deal.

Up until now, players have only been able to choose Vegeta’s original Saiyan armour or the variant of the costume from his time training with Whis, as the classic version wasn’t an option for some reason.Fans have been asking about this bizarre omission since the game launched in 2016, but it seems that long saga of waiting has finally come to an end.
