Steam’s Summer Sale is live now, with a whole bunch of games getting huge discounts. Amidst all the price cuts, there’s the return of what is perhaps one of the best deals out there for RPG fans:the entire Dragon Age series, including all of its DLC.

For the second time sinceDragon Age: The Veilguardlaunched, the entire series can be purchased for less than the cost of a new release. This means that every game and expansion - including The Veilguard - is less than The Veilguard cost at launch last October.

The Entire Dragon Age Series Is In The Steam Summer Sale

Here’s a breakdown of the specific games and their prices:

This brings the price of getting all the games to £46.21, much less than the cost of a new release now, and a few quid less than The Veilguard when it’s at full price.

If you don’t fancy picking up all of the games, then it’s worth mentioning that many jumped into the series for the first time with Inquisition, which has the bonus of being one of the more recent releases if you aren’t keen on older RPGs. With that said, I will always spread the good word about Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age 2. Origins can bea bit of a nightmare to get running on PC, mind you, but it is brilliant - and comes with four DLC campaigns, and the Awakening expansion.

If you’re lucky, the only fix you’ll need for Origins on PC is the4GB patch.

As for The Veilguard, that is a pretty self-contained game, so you can always start on that. You can only import a few choices from Inquisition and many fans complained that the tone was off compared to the previous games, so it is a little jarring when you’re replaying the whole series. However, it was recently reported thatmany of its woes may be down to EA’s mismanagement over the years, so this isn’t all that surprising.

These discounts will last until July 10, so you still have some time to pick them up if you’re considering jumping into the series.
