Nintendohas revealed a snazzy barrel cushion bundle forDonkey Kong Bananza, but some fans have pointed out it’s rather… unique design.
Even though we’ve known about Donkey Kong Bananza for a couple of months now, it feels like we onlyreally just saw it during the recent Donkey Kong Bananza Direct. That showcase shared a ton about the game, fromPauline’s inclusion as Odd RocktoDonkey Kong’s strange range of transformations.
Once the Direct was finished, Nintendo went all-in on marketing the game,including revealing several bundles that are available on the official Nintendo Store. While one of them is a fairly simple one that includes theDonkey Kong and Pauline amiibo, there’s another bundle that’s much moreinteresting.

Just a few days ago, Nintendo announced that Donkey Kong Bananza is getting a variety of bundles on its store,including one that features a very cute barrel cushion. While the barrel might look like any ordinary cushion at first, a closer inspection reveals it’s got amassive hole on top for you to stick your arm in and cuddle.
Well, that’s what most people think of when they see the barrel cushion. To nobody’s surprise, the cushion’s unique design has instantly garnered the kind of reactions that you’d expect. I wasmade aware of this horrible reality by a Redditor on the Donkey Kong subredditwhose name I don’t even want to repeat.

The Redditor shared an image of the barrel cushion with the caption “Finally…”. While you might think they’re just excited for a cool bit of DK merch, the NSFW tag should clue you in to what they’re thinking. The comments section of the post is full of shocked Donkey Kong fans who, like me, probably didn’t even think the cushion looked that weird.
It’s not just one Redditor who pointed out how the barrel cushioncouldbe used, though. Over on Twitter,some of the replies to Nintendo’s post about the barrel are making it explicitly clear(and I do meanexplicit) what they think it looks like. I’ll let you be the judge, but for now, I think I need some time away from the internet.
