The game has been out barely a day, and people are already finding ways to break it.
While smashing stuff to bits is the main mechanic in Bananza, it also allows for some creative platforming. you may find ways to get up onto almost any ledge if you use the right trick, just like in Mario Odyssey. Thanks to this, players have figured out how to skip a good chunk of the game, including the entire Grumpy Kong boss fight.
You Can Skip The Grumpy Kong Fight In Donkey Kong Bananza
As showcased byNeilon Twitter (viaGamesRadar+), you can jump across a massive chasm thanks to some creative platforming and skip a sizable part of the Canyon Layer area and the Grumpy Kong boss fight. You’ll need to grab a chunk of rock from the ground and jump off at the area shown in the video. Then, using Donkey Kong’s Turf Surf ability, you’ll be able to propel yourself to the other side.
It’s just been a day since the game came out, so you can be sure that players will be digging into the game and finding more such creative ways of speedrunning across the game, among other secrets. Considering you have to smash your way through levels, there are probably going to be tons of secrets you can literally unearth.
Speaking of Grumpy Kong, it appears that Donkey Kong Bananza mentions a Kong that hasn’t been heard from in a very long time. While speaking to DK and Pauline at some point in the game, Diddy and Dixie Kong bring upCandy Kong. The last time we heard of her wasthe leaderboard in Tropical Freeze, and the before that was as the minigames host in DK: Jungle Climber.
