In a similar vein to Usagi Drop, Hinamatsuri is also a story about sudden fatherhood. Sort of. You see, it follows a man named Yoshifumi Nitta, a member of the yakuza who suddenly has a capsule fall on his head containing a young girl named Hina, who has devastating powers.
The catch is that if Hina cannot use her unique and powerful abilities, she will cause a massive explosion, leaving Nitta to serve as her caretaker. Romance, Slice of Life
Shifting gears a little bit, we have Horimiya up next, a fantastic romcom anime that will have you hooked from the first episode, all the way through its 13 episodes in total. While it does technically have a side story that is also 13 episodes, it isn’t required for the main story.
Seeing Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura fall for each other is the most adorable and heartwarming thing ever, and those 13 episodes will feel like nothing, making you wish there were more, which is where The Missing Pieces side story comes into play!
Drama, Supernatural

While there are several movies and an upcoming second season, Bunny Girl Senpai can be enjoyed on its own, without the need for the others. However, once you roll credits on its 13 episodes, you will practically be begging for more time with Mai and Sakuta!
Isekai, Fantasy
No Game No Life is up next and is one of the best anime series that has never received a second season, despite its massive popularity and overwhelming demand for one from fans. With unique visuals, excellent characters, and a fascinating plot, you cannot go wrong with this anime.

Sports anime may not be your thing, but trust us when we say you may want to make an exception for Ping Pong the Animation, which isnothing but high-octane ping pong matches with some of the most jaw-droppingly intense and visually satisfying animationsyou will ever see.
Ping Pong the Animation is also only 11 episodes, allowing you to see some of the best animations of all time while hearing banger after banger as its perfectly executed OST blares throughout each episode. This is a masterpiece and a slept-on gem. Watch it if you haven’t!
Sci-Fi, Action
Finally, we have Space Patrol Luluco, which is the master of binge-worthy animethat is surprisingly underrated.Despite having 13 episodes, it is the shortest show on this list. The reason? Each episode is only around seven minutes long, allowing you to breeze through it in about an hour and a half.
Space Patrol Luluco is also made by Trigger, which means the animation is all killer, no filler. They go HARD with this parody action sci-fi. Even with each episode only being seven minutes long, they’re incredibly entertaining and fun to watch, and we cannot recommend burning through all 13 in a single sitting!
