As with most activities inDestiny 2, Arms Week has an exclusive title to earn if you’re willing to grind challenges. Completing Ada-1’s quests and the reward track for this event will unlock the Sharpshooter title, which you can then gild by completing another subset of challenges during Arms Week.
Earning the title is straightforward, if a bit difficult due to the slow XP progression on the event pass. Today, we’ll be giving a brief overview of how to complete all four triumphs that are tied to the Sharpshooter title, providing tips for completing each challenge whenever applicable to make the grind as easy as possible.
Ephemeral Arsenal
Collect all Arms Week volatile weapon mods.
There arethree volatile mods available eachArms Week, all of which are obtained through Ada-1’s quests in the Shooting Range. Beyond the introduction quest, you’ll typically need toland kills with the weekly curated weaponto complete these volatile mod quests. For example, if Phoneutria Fera is available, that means hand cannons are curated. Both volatile weapon quests will, therefore, ask you to land hand cannon kills.
You only need to acquire all mods during a single week to complete this Triumph.Volatile mods expire at the end of Arms Week, so if you fail to complete these quests during the event, you’ll need to start over once Arms Week returns. The good news is that the quests are fairly easy, requiring around half an hour of play for most.
Within Scope
Deal final blows with weapons equipped with a volatile weapon mod.
Within Scope requires you toland kills with each volatile weapon mod equipped. You may only install volatile weapon mods onto curated weapons for that Arms Week. For example, if Phoneutria Fera is the current weapon from Ada-1, then hand cannons are curated that week. All hand cannons you own can install volatile mods that week, including hand cannons released before Edge of Fate.
As of the first Arms Week, these are the mods you’ll need to use:
Ada’s Anarchy
Complete matches in Arms Week: Hardware. Wins grant extra progress.
Arms Week: Hardware is aCrucible playlist that disables abilities and enables the use of volatile mods. It’s a way for players to test the new prototype weapons from Ada-1 and try out volatile mods in a casual PvP environment. Completing games will grant progress, but wins will grant significantly more progress.
You don’thaveto use curated weapons in Hardware, so keep that in mind. Any strong dueling weapons will serve you well here, such asHawkmoonand 390 RPM Pulse Rifles.
Rushed Recoil
Complete the Arms Week event rewards track.
Arms Week has a reward track that’s identical tothe seasonal huband battle pass.Completing daily and weekly challenges will award XP towards the Arms Week reward track.Daily objectives grant half a rank; the weekly grants a couple of levels. You’ll need tohit rank 20to finish this reward track.
