Well, Porters, we’re finally here - after years of teases, leaks, and rumours,Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is available for all PS5 players today. Based on early impressions, Kojima’s latest seems to be even better than the divisive first game, andlooks set to be one of 2025’s frontrunners for Game of the Year.
To celebrate Death Stranding 2’s long-awaited launch,Hideo Kojima has just released the “final trailer” for the game. While that might sound like a lot of fun, Kojima decided to include a lot of teases and reveals for the game that are almost definitely better left for your actual playthrough.

Trust Me, It Reveals Far Too Much
As pointed out by Push Square, Death Stranding 2’s final trailer is something that anyone who is playing the game should absolutely avoid. Kojima is known for enjoying his teases, but the trailer goes a little too far with that and shows a lot. Trust me, I bit the bullet and gave it a watch so I’d know what I was talking about.
I won’t go into any detail here so no one suffers the same fate as me, but the final trailer really does show a lot. I’m five hours intoDeath Stranding 2at the moment, and I feel like I’ve seen far more than I’m meant to.That includes the opening section of the game’s big story twist, along with hints at what might happen later in the plot.
Of course, as with any Hideo Kojima game, it’s tough to know what’sreallyhappening underneath what’s being shown.
Even if you’re not fussed on what Death Stranding 2’s story is about, the final trailer is just as spoiler-filled. Kojima has revealed a lot of unique weapons, vehicles, items, and locations in the new footage, including a few that I would have absolutely preferred to see myself. The things I do for you all.
Of course, I can’t actually stop you from watching the trailer and there’s a good chance that most aren’t actually analysing things as much as me, but you should really be careful on the internet now that Death Stranding 2 is out.Spoilers are already out there, but who knew they’d come from the game’s marketing itself.
