The game’s crafting system is your best shot at staying alive, letting you whip up everything from beds to high-tech teleporters. But with so many items, figuring out what to make can feel like its own challenge.

How To Craft
To start crafting in 99 Nights in the Forest,head to the Grinder located in the Campfire site.Toss in objectsyou find around the map to convert them intoScrap or Wood. You’ll see small icons above items to show what they yield.
There’s a counter on the front of the crafting table that will tell you how much of each item you have stored. Once you’ve collected enough materials,interact with the Grinderto access thecrafting menu.
Unlock higher-tier recipes by building upgraded Crafting Benches.

Use this tounlock Tier Two recipes. Place it next to the Grinder.
1 Scrap, 5 Wood
Farm Plot
Place thesenear your base to start growing Carrotsautomatically every two in-game days.
10 Wood
Map
Keeps this in your inventory toview the full world mapat any time.
Bear Trap
Set these totrap approaching enemies. They reset, so you can reuse them multiple times.
3 Scrap
Compass
Equip it tosee which direction you’re facing. This is useful when exploring or trying to return to base.
5 Scrap
Shelf
Place in your base toorganize items. This helps with inventory management.
2 Scrap
Sun Dial
Use this to checkhow much time is left before dayornight changes.
Wood Rain Storage
Store logsandWoodhere tokeep them from getting wet. you may’t add Wood to the fire if it’s wet.
Biofuel Processor
Feed itlogsandanimal meatto createBiofuel. Use this as along-term fuel sourceand acrafting material.
12 Scrap, 12 Wood
Boost Pad
Set near your base entrance tolaunch yourself outward quickly. Great for fast travel.
15 Scrap, 10 Wood
Crafting Bench Tier 4
Unlocks thefinal tier of crafting. Use it to gain access to items like Teleporters and Oil Drills.
30 Wood, 20 Scrap, 2 Biofuel
Crock Pot
Combineraw food here to make more effective meals. Place it near your base to keep up with hunger.
10 Scrap, 10 Wood
Lightning Rod
Place these around your base tosafely redirect lightning. This prevents damage and keeps your area safer during storms.
8 Scrap
Torch
Place it at the edges of your base toextend your safe zone slightly. Useful for lighting up the immediate surroundings.
Ammo Crate
Use this totrade Scrap for Ammo. Set it near your base for quick reloads.
25 Scrap, 35 Wood, 1 Biofuel
Teleporter
Set up two of these in distant locations toinstantly travel between them.
