What Is Crossplay And Cross-Save?

Simply put, Crossplay and Cross-Saverefer to game functionality across different consoles and systems, like PCs and PlayStations.

If a game allows crossplay, that means you canplay with friends onlineeven if you don’t have the same console.

If a game allows cross-save, that means youmove your save file across consoles, so long as your game account is linked.

Many games as complex as Dune: Awakening allow for cross-save, so that progression is not bound to your system.

Does Dune: Awakening Support Crossplay?

As of launch,Dune: Awakening is currently only available on PC. However, console versions of the game are likely to arrive in 2026, per the development team.

It is possible that, should Dune: Awakening allow crossplay,PvP areas like the Deep Desert will likely be not included in crossplay.

While the team atFuncom hasn’t yet confirmed whether or not crossplay will be available. However, it has also not been ruled out.
