Legosets andFunko Popsused to be the mark of whether an IP had become big enough to warrant having its own line of collectibles, and they still are. However,Squishmallowsare now right there alongside them, and finally, the good people at Jazwares have deemed Bluey a big enough deal that the world’s favorite cartoon dog should have a Squishmallow of her own.

The reveal thatBluey, her sister Bingo, and their cousin Muffinare getting debut Squishmallows was made via the popular plush range’s Instagram account last week. Now, all three are available at Target, either via the chain’s website or, presumably, in-store if you’re lucky enough to find one.

That said, while I’m sure the Bluey Squishmallows are going to be very popular, I’m not sure they’ll be on the same level of popularity as thePokemonones. The more popular Pokemon Squishmallows tend to sell out almost immediately and then disappear, in some cases forever. If anyone can point me in the direction of a Gengar Squishmallow without having to pay a reseller $80 for one, I’d be eternally grateful.

Bluey, Bingo, and Muffin’s first Squishmallows are now available at Target

All three of Bluey’s Squishmallows are essentially the same, except for their color schemes. They’re 12-inch plushes, which is the most common Squishmallow size, with pointy ears on top and stick-out snouts. If you’re unfamiliar with Bluey - in which case fair play to you for making it so far into the article, appreciate you sticking around - Bingo has orange fur, Muffin’s fur is grey, and as her name suggests, the Bluey Squishmallow is blue.

I assume the bulk of you still reading this are hardened Bluey fans who already knew that. You might also be racking your brains, convinced Bluey Squishmallows were already a thing. You are not misremembering. Well, not really. Rather than turning Bluey characters into standard Squishmallows, Jazwares went down the Hugmees route. Hugmees are a Squishmallow spinoff plush that aren’t as round, but they are as soft and have actual limbs rather than ones that are embroidered into the design.

If you want more Squishmallows than just the trio of Bluey characters available now,Pokemon’s newest designs have also arrived. Torchic and Smiling Pikachu, marking the third time Pikachu has been turned into a Squishmallow. There’s alsoa second, much larger wave of Puma x Squishmallows sneakersavailable now. They’re not necessarily comfier than other Puma footwear, but each pair is themed after one of Jazwares best-loved Squishmallow designs.
