For some time now,Call of Dutyhasprioritized crossovers and collaborations in its games, largely leaving behind the hyper-realistic military background that made the series so iconic to begin with.
In the past, there has been everythingranging from characters dressed like Mobile Suit Gundam mechastoHomelander from The Boysto theever iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. TheFortnite-like aesthetic has been a turn-off for some longtime fans, with Battlefield fans in particular hoping that Battlefield 6 sticks to its militaristic style and has no “clown skins.”
However, if you thought that things could not get more depraved, well, they have. That’s because COD and Beavis and Butt-Head are coming together for an upcoming crossover.
The Numbers, Beavis, What Do They Mean?
As first announced on social media, beginning with Season 04 Reloaded, Beavis and Butt-Head, the characters from the animated show of the same name, will be coming toCall of Duty: Black Ops 6.
The season will seemingly begin on June 26, and it’s likely that each character will be part of its own “Operator Bundle,” one that likely won’t be cheap. It’s unclear if there will be a themed event for Beavis and Butt-Head that will feature other characters from the show.
For what it’s worth, the announcement video does show other characters in the art style, meaning there could be more than just the two titular characters.
“What has this game become,“one user wrote in response. Listen, we’re all wondering the same thing.
