We have no idea whenThe Elder Scrolls 6will launch, what it will be called, or even where it will be set. The only thing we can say with any degree of certainty is thatit does exist. Or at least, itwillexist, eventually. One day.

However, some fans aren’t letting that stop them fromimagining what The Elder Scrolls 6 will look like. To pull this off, oneBethesdafan has hopped ontoStarfieldand made it look as nice as possible, speculating that this is the quality we can expect from TES 6.

Is This What The Elder Scrolls 6 Could Look Like?

Reddit user PotatoEatingHistory put these screenshots together, arguing that this gives us an idea of what NPCs in TES 6 will look like. Here, we see the NPCs in Starfield at their very best, and probably a lot better than those of us who couldn’t play on PC, or with max graphics settings, got to experience.

There are some in the replies who would be happy with this, arguing that the quality we get from Creation Engine is fine for what Bethesda wasn’t to accomplish in its games. But of course, there are those who are setting their sights a little higher.

“I assume they’ll look quite a bit better. Like going from Fallout 4 to Starfield,” says BilboniusBagginius.

“They’ll have to make models for elves, khajiit, argonians and orcs, so I wouldn’t think it too unrealistic for them to redo human faces too, especially if they’re going for a more stylised look than Starfield,” agrues kangaesugi. “That’ll probably include some kind of quality improvement.”

With that said, some are critical of the NPC graphics we got in Oblivion Remastered, which doesn’t fill them with hope. Admittedly, the visuals were made from scratch, but the game was built upon the original, making it an odd remake/remaster hybrid, so not necessarily indicative of what we’ll see from the series in the future.

Ultimately, this just does to shows how starved for content we are. Last we heard, we’reprobably getting the game in this decade, which I suppose is better than nothing. Do spare a thought for Fallout fans, though, who will have to wait until TES 6 has launched before they get Fallout 5.
