Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Armyhas a huge array of demons, split across the game’s many different orders. Many of these demons are based on deities from different religions, and within Raidou, each one has a unique set of stats and a range of skills.

With so many to choose from, you might be scratching your head as to which ones to use, depending on the situation. Thankfully, we’ve broken it down, choosing the best demons from each order in Raidou Remastered’s early, mid, and late game.

Ukobach demon screen and stats from raidou remastered.

Best Pyro Order Demons

The Pyro order is one of the most crucial in Raidou Remastered. It feels like many of the game’s enemies have a weakness to fire, and the order’s Ignite skill is vital for investigations. Here are the best ones you may choose.

Early Game - Ukobach

Ukobach is the first demon you’ll meetin Raidou Remastered. The strange imp is probably the demon you’ll be using most during the first few hours of the game, too.

It has a very even stat spread, and its early access to Fire moves like Agi and Maragi means he’ll be a menace to enemies weak to the element.

Gdon demon screen and stats from raidou remastered.

Mid-Game - Gdon

Gdon is literally a tiger on fire, based on Durga from Hindu mythology. He can first be found at level 39 in Chapter 6’s Dark Fukagawa-Cho.

While its Magic stats are pretty low, it has incredible Strength potential and great vitality. Coupled with the fact that it’s strong against Fire and Mind-type moves and nullifies Gun, it’s a great Pyro option for the middle of the game.

Belial demon screen and stats from raidou remastered.

Late Game - Belial

Belial is categorically the strongest demon of Raidou Remastered’s Pyro Order. It can only be achieved by fusion at level 66, with combinations like Thor and Siegfried suitable for creating this new monster.

It can reach Strength and Vitality level 40, and Magic level 39, meaning it should be able to annihilate anything that’s put in its way.

Azumi demon screen and stats from raidou remastered.

Best Frost Order Demons

Following the Pyro order, you’ll most likely find Frost Order demons next. There are plenty of strong options here, ready to counter any Pyro demons you need to take down.

Their Cool Down ability is also multifaceted, being able to help cool off witnesses to get them to speak, and freeze water to help create new paths.

Okuninushi demon screen and stats from raidou remastered.

Early Game - Azumi

Azumi is our pick for the best early-game demon in Raidou Remastered. For its level, it has a very respectable Magic stat, and its Ice-type moves are strong against one of the game’s first bosses, Tsuchigumo.

It’s also the first demon to have access to the Fly Skill, which is exactly what you’ll need to complete the game’s very first case file.

Yamata-no-Orochi demon screen and stats from raidou remastered.

Mid-Game - Okuninushi

Okuninushi is a fantastic mid-game pick in Raidou Remastered. While her stats favor Strength, her Magic abilities are really strong, making her a great pick. Once Raidou hits level 32, Okuninushi can be fused with Dr. Victor.

A huge selling point of the Japanese deity of agriculture and medicine is that she nullifies Mind-type damage, something that many opposition demons have in their lockers.

Agathion demon screen and stats from raidou remastered.

Late Game - Yamata-no-Orochi

Yamata-no-Orochi is one of Atlus' most recognizable demons/Personas, and the strongest of the Frost Order in Raidou Remastered. The eight-headed snake appears as a boss in Dark Harumi-Cho late in the game, before becoming available for fusion later on. Futsunushi and Siegried, Decarabia and Thor, and Thor and Ophanim are just combinations you can use to create Yamata-no-Orochi.

Also available for capture right before the game’s final fight, Yamata-no-Orochi has killer Magic and Vitality stats, making it a perfect late-game choice.

Cybelle demon screen and stats from raidou remastered.

Best Volt Order Demons

Volt order demons are likely the ones you’re going to have hanging around Raidou Remastered’s overworld with you the most.

Their ability to investigate the environment and find hidden items is incredibly handy, and they’re not too bad in battle, either.

Barong demon screen and stats from raidou remastered.

Early Game - Agathion

Agathion is vital in Raidou Remastered’s opening hours, with a Volt Nethergate blocking a path to the aforementioned Tsuchigumo.

The little potted creature is also one of the first demons to learn a skill of a different order, learning the Wind-type move Zan, giving it great versatility. Its Magic and Luck stats are also great, meaning you should land some solid critical hits.

Poltergeist demon screen and stats from raidou remastered.

Mid-Game - Cybelle

Cybelle is one of Raidou Remastered’s new demons, having appeared in the game’s sequel, but never the original.

While Cybelle’s Strength and Luck stats are low, her Magic and Vitality are fantastic, having the capabilities of reaching level 40 and 37, respectively. She should definitely be your choice of demon from the Volt Order to get you through the tough mid-game sections.

Late Game - Barong

While Thor is likely the poster child of Raidou Remastered’s Volt Order, Barong is the one you want to be picking. It can be fused by sending Futsunushi and Ophanim to Dr. Victor.

It’s another new demon to the game, and it can max out its Strength, Magic, and Vitality stats. Arguably, most impressively, Barong resists Wind-type moves, which is usually the Volt Order’s biggest weakness. The combination of its stats and its resistances makes it a perfect choice.

Best Wind Order Demons

While, on paper at least, the Wind Order might not be as cool as the Pyro Order or the Volt Order, it has a range of really strong demons you should absolutely utilize in your party.

Like the Volt Order, the Wind Order’s demons also have the ability to find items in the overworld with their Scout Skill, which is great to have.

Early Game - Poltergeist

Poltergeist will be the first Wind Order demon you’ll find in Raidou Remastered, appearing in the Daijouji Residence, among other places.

It’s heavily magic-oriented and receives no damage from Mind or Pagan attacks, making it a solid choice as your first Wind buddy in the game.

Mid-Game - Ichimokuren

Ichimokuren is one of the best mid-game demons in Raidou Remastered, regardless of its order. Its stats in Magic and Strength stats can reach levels that rival some of the late-game demons, and its vitality stat is solid too.

It appears as one of the game’s earlier bosses, so you know it’s going to be powerful, and once you reach level 38, you’ll be able to summon your own in the Goumaden.

Late Game - Orphanim

Orphanim is an absolute powerhouse in Raidou Remastered. Not available in the original Soulless Army, Orphanim’s stat spread is impressive, having the ability to reach level 40 across Strength, Magic, and Vitality.

Alongside its Wind-type moves, it also has access to a range of buffs and healing spells, but its affinities are where it really shines. Orphanim resists or outright blocks attacks that are Fire, Ice, Electric, Wind, and Gun, and is only weak to Physical and Mind attacks. It’s one of the best late-game options of any Order.

Best Fury Order Demons

The Fury Order offers something a little different from previous Orders on the list. Prioritizing raw power over magical ability, you’ll want a demon of this Order in your party to capitalize on that.

Their Use Force Skill is also incredibly handy, giving you the ability to move objects in the game’s overworld to open up new paths.

Early Game - Obaryon

Obaryon is one of the biggest tricksters in Atlus games, and one you’ll be able to nab early in Raidou Remastered. A trio of them challenge you to a battle ahead of one of the game’s first bosses, and you’re free to grab one following that.

Its strength stat is excellent and its vitality is servicable, but its standard attack that pushes an enemy away and buys you time to heal or unload on them is its biggest boon early on.

Mid-Game - Turdak

Turdak is a great mid-game option from the Fury Order of Raidou Remastered and it’s available really early on.

It serves as a great tank, with high Strength and Vitality stats, and a range of powerful Combat Skills. You’ll be able to find one in the Daidouji Residence’s basement, and when you do, expect to stick with it for a while.

Late Game - Susano-o

Susano-o is an imposing force in Raidou Remastered, and is the mortal foe of Yamata-no-Orochi. You’ll face him head-on in Chapter 9, alongside a bunch of Obariyon, and will be able to get him to join your party in the following chapter.

It has a great range of Combat Skills, and both its Strength and Vitality stats can reach level 40. If you’re looking for a late-game Fury Order demon, look no further than this one.

Best Skill Order Demons

Skill Order demons will typically play the support role in your Raidou Remastered playthroughs. They can learn a range of different Combat Skills designed to buff you and your party, or nerf your opponents.

While their Demonstrate Skill is not as handy as some, it can transform one item into another, which certainly has its uses.

Early Game - Ippon-Datara

Ippon-Datara is the gold standard of early Raidou Remastered demons. It has a great spread of stats across the board, and the first Combat Skill it learns is Maragi, a Fire-type move, meaning it can cover the Pyro Order slot in battles.

You’ll be able to capture the demon early on in Dark Fukagawa-Cho, and you’ll likely be buddying up with it for a long time after that.

Mid-Game - Neko-Mata

Neko-Mata does everything Ippon-Datara does, but better. It has very even stats, although its Vitality is slightly low, and access to a range of great moves that can support you in battle.

Available when you reach level 29, Neko-Mata is a great choice to aid you through those mid-game battles.

Late Game - Taoti

Taoti is another demon that makes its Soulless Army debut in Raidou Remastered. While its stats are undoubtedly solid for the level it’s at, maxing out at 39 in Strength, and 40 in Magic and Vitality, its roster of healing and support moves makes itthelate-game Skill Order demon.

It’s fusion only, meaning you’ll have to pay Dr. Victor a visit, but a combination of Vritra and Siegfried will ensure you get yourself the best Skill Order demon in the game.

Best Pagan Order Demons

Pagan Order demons are one of the only Orders in the game with access to brutal Death magic skills, meaning you’ll need one of them around to take advantage of any enemy weak to it.

Its Read Minds Skill is also one of the game’s most useful, giving you access to vital information you might not be able to obtain otherwise.

Early Game - Alp

Alp will be your first introduction into the Pagan Orderin Raidou Remastered. The flirty pixie has decent stats, but learns three fantastic early game skills.

Dia often comes in clutch as you’re learning Raidou Remastered’s combat mechanics, and Pulpina and Mudo are Death and Mind skills, respectively, which are a lot harder to come by than the standard elements. She’s a keeper.

Mid-Game - Arachne

Arachne’s design gives me the creeps, but that didn’t stop me from utilizing the heck out of her in Raidou Remastered.

She has great Vitality and Strength stats, making her a good tank, and like Alp, she learns moves that can be vital to tackling certain enemies. She’s a creeper.

Late Game - Rangda

Taking the creep factor up a notch isRaidou Remastered’sbest Pagan Order demon, Rangda. The witchy demon has fantastic stats, propelling her right to the top of the Order’s most-desirable list.

Like many of the best demons, she can be fused by Dr. Victor in the Goumaden. At level 64, a combination of Decarabia and Siegfried, Fenrir and Ophanim, or Siegfried and Ophanim will do the trick, and you’ll be in control of the game’s best Pagan Order demon.
