In case you missed it,Battlefieldas a franchise is back.As first revealed earlier this year, Electronic Arts' first-person shooter is making a comeback, complete with not only multiplayer, but a single-player campaign that’ll take cues from movies. Oh,and a Battle Royale mode.

Officially titledBattlefield 6, the gamereceived its first trailer last week, albeit without any concrete gameplay, something that long-time fans took issue with. Thankfully,a number of leaks have given fans a look at the game, even afterEA and DICE explicitly asked gamers not to do that.

Now, via another leak, we have our first look at the cosmetic skins that will be available to players. Hint: there’s no tomfoolery going on … yet.

Unlike Recent Call Of Duty Titles, Battlefield 6 Will Seemingly Keep Its Focus On Realism

As first reported by MP1st, a Reddit user took to the Battlefield sub to share some datamined skins for the upcoming game, and so far, all the skins retain the franchise’s signature highly realistic military look.

While very much a work-in-progress, the cosmetics don’t feel particularly out of place from what has been shown in trailers or in leaked gameplay. That’s a good thing becausefans were adamant in the lead-up to Battlefield 6’s official reveal that they did not want any “clown skins” in the game.

By “clown skins” they arelikely referring to things like Call of Duty’s recent decision to make Beavis and Butt-Head an official part of the game via microtransactions, among other additions in recent years, all largely related to pop culture. Unfortunately,as one studio head put it recently, there is no issue with those skins, at least to them.

That said, at least for now, Battlefield will be “normal” at launch, and at least shortly after. We’ll see how long that lasts ultimately.
