Soldiers, file this under “distinctly possible”, rather than “definitely the case”. But wemaynow know the minimum and recommended specs forBattlefield 6on PC.
A recent post on EA’sofficial website, which is understandably a cacophony of Battlefield 6 marketing right now, has unveiled the technical mandate for folks running Battlefield Labs. Which, admittedly, is not Battlefield 6. But it’s probably close enough. If you’re participating in Labs, you’re likely there to test-drive Dice’s upcoming juggernaut of a first-person shooter, in which case you’ll need a rig that’s up to par. You’re sampling mechanics, getting a feel for the finished product, and you can’t do that to EA’s own satisfaction if you can’t even run the thing.
A Relatively Modest Warzone
TheBattlefield FAQpost in question - which was first reported over atPCGamersN! - goes into appreciable detail about the program, including appropriate disclaimers that “rough edges, bugs, and crashes” are likely. This is, after all, a Battlefield 6 that is not yet ready for launch.
But the PC specs are the heart of the matter, at least insofar as the page’s contents are worth reporting by intrepid writers like yours truly. Again, it’s worth emphasizing that this is all subject to change.

See? Nothing too taxing. In fact, I’m a bit surprised. Personally, I’m not much of a PC gamer. I stick to consoles whenever possible. Hence, my own computer’s specs are nothing to write home about. Yet, I can almost play Battlefield 6 - in its current state, at least - on recommended specs. My CPU is just a smidge too weak.
If I, a console-centric gamer, can very nearly hitElectronic Arts' recommendation? I’ve got to imagine many of you reading this article will do so in spades. If anything, I bet some will grumble that the specs aretoolow, and that something must be underpowered, but the truth of the matter is, optimization is a far less straightforward matter.
Just look atMonster Hunter Wilds, for example. It’s hardly the best-looking game that Capcom’s ever made, and yet,its own optimization is a right-propermess.
