Summary

The cast ofBaldur’s Gate 3has left quite an impression on many people since they were introduced to the world in 2023. There are already quite a few ways you can show your love for those characters outside of the game, and Good Smile just announced what might be the best one yet, which is coming soon.

Well aware of just how much Baldur’s Gate fans are going to want it, Good Smile has revealedit’s working on an Astarion Nendoroideven though it doesn’t have anything to show for it yet. For those unfamiliar with Nendoroids, Good Smile’s collectible figures are detailed creations of iconic characters, most of them from video games, with a slightly chibi-style makeover. They tend to be a little more expensive thanFunko Pops, but that’s because there are more intricacies. They also usually come with spare parts that allow you to change their moods via swappable faceplates, and sometimes come equipped with accessories.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Nendoroids Are Coming

Well, One Is, But I’d Bet A Lot Of Money On There Being More

Astarion being the first Baldur’s Gate 3 character to get a Nendoroid makes a lot of sense. Usually, when it comes to this sort of thing, I’d say fans will have to wait and see how well the Astarion figure performs sales-wise before getting their hopes up about other characters. In this case, I don’t think there’s any doubt that this figure will sell well, maybe even sell out almost immediately. So much so that I wouldn’t be surprised to find out Good Smile already has a plan of action for more figures. I’m guessing Shadowheart next and, hopefully, Karlach after that.

If you can’t wait for Astarion’s full Nendoroid reveal, especially when you take into account the wait between reveal and arrival that will likely come with it, there are already ways you can collect toy and figure versions of the Baldur’s Gate 3 crew. The Game of the Year’s first wave of Funko Popsincludes an Astarion figure, and there’s also a Karlach that comes with a Bitty Pop Clive.

Karlach also already has her own Youtooz figurealong with Wyll and other Baldur’s Gate party members. The only way to collect physical versions of your favorite characters that hasn’t gone to plan isthe set of D&D miniatures that didn’t turn out as intended. The creators of the miniatures have apologized, and if you have some you’re not happy with, you can get a full refund.
