There’s no lack of clueless characters inBaldur’s Gate 3. FromWyll getting killed after his flashy introtoIsobel having no survival instinct, these characters would get nowhere without your help. However, while being bad at combat is one thing, some NPCs are so naive that they’ll even follow a creepy stranger into the sewers. You probably know who I’m talking about.
At some point in the game, you’ll find yourself exploring the sewers of Baldur’s Gate, hoping to find the Stone Lord. During your hunt you’ll come across an elf named Lorna Esthelian looking completely out of place in the dank and dirty sewer. It turns out she’s waiting for a date who asked her to meet him in the sewers of all places. We all probably rolled our eyes at her gullible nature, but some players are genuinely concerned for her.

Not only is Lorna waiting in a dirty and secluded sewer, but there have been reports of people going missing, and some of them are littered right next to her. “So, my Tav was deep in the Lower City Sewers, searching for Minsc when I saw this girl. Just standing there. In a corner. Alone,” said a post byyureipion Reddit.
“I thought she was going to go aggro on me, but NOPE, just a regular NPC. WAITING for her date! In the SEWERS!!!! Apparently, this skinny, pale looking guy she just met invited her out in an underground party and told her to meet him in a filthy, foul-smelling, ooze infested sewers. Girllll!!!!!!! I literally screamed at her to leave. Jeez!!!There are missing person poster strewn all over where you are standing.”
Whether it’s just the vampire rizz or Lorna finally hoping to find love, we’ve all come across the clueless NPC and wondered how they’ve managed to survive till now.
“I see why Astarion told Petras he was never burdened with intelligence because having a date wait in the sewers? Good lord,” said one comment.
At a time when people are going missing, a crime lord has been spotted in the sewers, and an army is marching to destroy the city, Lorna decided to take a chance on love with a romantic encounter in a sewer. Girl!
