Baldur’s Gate 3’srest mechanicsmight take a little getting used to if you haven’t playedDungeons & Dragonsbefore, but put simply, you just need to make sure your party gets some sleep and something to eat every now and then. Depending on the difficulty you’re playing on, you’ll need a different amount of camp supplies (food and drink) to fully heal and replenish resources, so it’s best to get into the habit of picking up snacks along the road.
But what if we could makeforaging for camp supplieseven easier? What if we got camp supplies every time we killed an enemy? What if our enemieswerecamp supplies? Well, if that sounds appealing, let me introduce you to cannibalism.
This Baldur’s Gate 3 Mod Lets You Eat Your Enemies, In Case You’re Running Low On Camp Supplies
More Cannibalism - A Dark Urge Flavour Enhanceris a mod from Nexus user RevolutionScribe. As the name suggests, it lets you be a cannibal - and not just as part of your Dark Urge’s backstory, but in practice.
The mod works by turning lootable body parts into camp supplies, meaning you can use them to contribute to your long rest. You come across a few limbs in the game, including some that are part of quests, so this finally gives them some more functionality.
Be careful which body parts you click on the camp supplies screen, though. The mod description says that the body parts that you get as part of quests are consumable, but that means you won’t be able to use them as a way to resolve the quest anymore. Be sure that you’re okay with handling those quests in another manner first, or ensure that they have fulfilled their purpose.
It seems that the mod will work even if you’re not playing as The Dark Urge, so fret not if your Tav is a bit of a freak. Also, given how camp supplies work, this implies that you’re forcing all of your companions to unwittingly engage in cannibalism too. Oh well, it’s almost definitely not the worst thing that The Dark Urge has done at camp (gestures to Alfira’s dead body).
