Some of the cutscenes inBaldur’s Gate 3are quite funny, even if the world might soon come to an end. However, Druid’s have an unfair advantage in fun factor, as certain cutscenes allow them to remain in their Wild Shape avatar. This has resulted inrare dialogues, great photos, and evenmore options during romance scenes. However, someone may have just stumbled upon the most hilarious Wild Shape cutscene.
If you head over to the north-east of the Emerald Grove, you’ll come across The Secluded Cove. There you’ll hear some enchanting music and find a Tiefling Child enamoured by the music of the Harpies. Upon hearing the music, your character will start bobbing their head with it, but if you’re a Druid in Wild Shape, your animal will also do the same.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Cutscene Is Hilarious With Wild Shape On
As showcased byu/Warp_Legionon Reddit, their Wild Shaped Druid approached the location in wolf form, so when the cutscene played, the wolf was calmly bobbing to the music. It’s not a humourous scene as is, but there’s something about a wolf bobbing its head to calming music that just makes us giggle. It reminds me of thememe of the cat bobbing its head to music.
The comments had fun with this funny little scene too. “This is less headbanging and more like middle aged dad quietly bopping out to Journey behind the wheel of the minivan so he doesn’t wake the kid in the car seat,” said one comment, that strangely has the perfect description for this scene.
Others found it absolutely adorable. “This is so absurdly cute, can I pet dat dawg?” said one player. “Happy pupper likes the music. (No, pupper, that’s dangerous!)” remarked another. There were also several gifs of animals (and Jay-Z) bobbing their heads along in the same way.
While this little interaction is cute with most animals you can Wild Shape into, it seems someone tried to do it in bat form via a mod, only to end up flat on the ground. Perhaps bats can’t appreciate the beauty of the Harpy’s song.
