There’s always a sale of some description going on at the PlayStation Store, but the one that’s live right now is better than most. More than 3,000 games have been discounted in the platform’s aptly-named Summer Sale, with some of 2025’s biggest games available for less sprinkled among the other great deals you’re able to grab right now.
Topping the bill is the game that, as things stand, will likely be crowned Game of the Year come December -Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Released in April, Sandfall’s debut game received critical acclaim, becoming the highest-rated game of the year.It has also sold 3.3 million copiesand counting, a number that will keep ticking up while it’s on sale. It’s already considerably cheaper than the $70/$80 standard at $49.99,but right now you can get it for 10 percent off on PS5.
Clair Obscur, Oblivion Remastered, Baldur’s Gate 3
They’re all available for less in the PlayStation Summer Sale
There were fears that Clair’s arrival would be overshadowed byOblivion Remastered, which dropped in the same week. It wasn’t, even though the highly polished Elder Scrolls game was also incredibly popular. If you chose Clair over Oblivion and now you’re itching to visit Cyrodiil, Bethesda’s recent remaster is also included in the PlayStation Summer Sale.20 percent off, bringing its price down to just $39.99.
Backlogs stretch back further than the last few months, and the Summer Sale has those of you looking for big games released earlier than 2025 covered, too. It arguably has the biggest pre-2025 game of all up for grabs for less for a limited time -Baldur’s Gate 3. There are fewer games out there that offer more adventure than Larian’s D&D-fueled masterpiece, andright now you can embark on the adventure for $55.99, 20 percent less than its usual price.
Helldivers 2is also on sale, right before its player base gets a serious expansion. The PlayStation exclusive will get an influx of new recruits this summerwhen it arrives on Xbox. If you own aPS5and you still haven’t joined the fight, you’re able to pick up Helldivers 2 for $31.99, another game that’s 20 percent off untilthe Summer Sale comes to an end on Jun 22, 2025.
The games mentioned above are just the tip of the iceberg. There are more than 3,000 titles in the Summer Sale, with some other heavy hitters among them that I’ve not had the chance to mention.Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been hit with a discount,as has Call of Duty: Black Ops 6if you want to take what many consider to be the best CoD in years for a spin. The sale ends on July 31, so get to browsing, and if you like something you see, get to buying before it returns to full price.
