Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Remakeis officially out, andbeyond including the usual suspects like Tony Hawk himself and Bam Margera, the game also has several fun cameos,like Doom Slayer and Michelangelo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
That said, not content with the base roster itself, one avid video game modder decided to add CJ fromGrand Theft Auto San Andreasinto the mix. In doing so, they’ve kept one of the best memes in all gaming alive.
Awww S***, Here We Go Again
Over on Nexus Mods, a site dedicated to all things video game add-ons, user huckpie transplanted CJ’s base model into the world of Pro Skater 3+4. Unfortunately, it’s currently not a separate character, instead replacing Tony Hawk, though the creator does plan on fixing that soon.
It’s the latest video game cameo for CJ, who’s seen himself transported into the world of way too many games, all in the name of memes.
Just last month,someone decided to replace Stellar Blade’s Eve with CJ, because why not? And before that,CJ became the central protagonist in Silent Hill 2 Remake via another mod. If that wasn’t enough CJ for you — and really there’s no such thing as too much CJ —he’s also been made playable in Starfield, along withappearances in Armored Core 6andeven the remaster of Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man.
While the memes of CJ not following the train or saying “Ah s***” have been around for some time, it’s unclear just when the meme of adding him to every video game imaginable started.As far back as 2022, gamers were attempting to add CJ via mods, making this quite an old joke that’s recently picked up major popularity. Either way, the tradition has been kept alive, and there’s no telling what game CJ will star in next.
