The Rite of the Nine event has updated some ofDestiny 2’solder dungeons with updated weapons, quests, and even new encounter mechanics. One of the smaller additions made with Rite of the Nine is the inclusion of new collectibles. Throughout each updated dungeon, you can find hidden Nine-themed Engrams that award lore when collected.

There are six collectibles to find in total, two in each dungeon. Find all of them, and you’ll unlock some lore tabs and a Triumph that’s tied to this event’s Eternal title. Today, we’ll be going over how these new collectibles work and cover all of their spawn locations.

Updated Jun 15, 2025, by Charles Burgar:The final set of collectibles are now live in Destiny 2’s Rite of the Nine event. We’ve updated this guide to include all collectible locations for Ghosts of the Deep and Prophecy. If you missed any of the collectibles from previous weeks, you’ll be able to claim all six starting on June 17.

How The Rite Of The Nine Collectibles Work

Rite of the Ninehas added six new collectible Engrams across this season’s three updated dungeons: Spire of the Watcher, Ghosts of the Deep, and Prophecy. Each reprised dungeon has two collectibles to find. Both collectibles become available once the dungeon is unlocked for Rite of the Nine, which is currently tied to a nine-week timegate.

As of writing, the release calendar for each dungeon should look something like this:

Once a dungeon becomes available, you can boot it up on any difficulty to claim the Rite of the Nine collectibles. Get your hands on all nine collectibles to claim the Seeker of the Nine Triumph, one of the challenges tied to the Eternal title.

The first collectible can be found in theSpire of the Watcherdungeon during the first platforming section. While crossing the massive chasm inside the tower, just before you drop down to a lower floor, jump across to the other side and look for an Engram above a computer terminal. If you just recently killed a Hydra, you’re in the correct area.

Descent just before the final boss.

The second collectible in Spire of the Watcher can be found just before the final boss. After completing the final switch puzzle during the last jumping section, just before you descend to the boss arena, drop to the crates on an unlit platform below.Nested in between the crates will be the Nine Engram.

Ghosts of the Deep

First jumping section, found after defeating the Lucent Hive.

The first collectible in Ghosts of the Deep is foundin the room where you fight the Lucent Guardian who drops a chest. After you kill the boss and loot their remains, look at the coral platform diagonally from the chest and jump across. On the lower platform will be the gilded engram.

Second jumping puzzle, at the start of the cathedral section.
