As you make your way throughRune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, you’ll come across plenty of side quests that are totally separate from the main narrative. Your rewards for completing these are pretty great - from better bonds with main characters to crucial crafting recipes that let you do amazing things.
Yoichi’s Target Practice is a quest that spans quite a lot of the game, requiring that you keep your eyes open throughout the entire game to make sure you don’t miss anything. The reward is quite snazzy too, if you’re enjoying the game’s archery! If you need help tracking down that last target, let us help.
All Yoihi’s Target Locations
To start this quest, you simply need tofind and shoot one of the manytargetsthat the game’s eggplant enthusiast, Yoichi, has left throughout the world. The easiest and likely first to find is the one in the Spring Region, and shooting it with your bow will start the quest in earnest.
Directions
Spring Region
Just south of the Guardian Grove, which you’ll be sent to early on in the game, you’ll find a target on a hill that’s difficult to climb.
Summer Region
As you’re making your way through the Summer Region for the first time, you’ll find this target at the bridge in the centre of the map.
Autumn Region
The Autumn Region’s targets are to the west of the Mechanical Maze. There are two parts of the map that jut out over the river - the target is attached to the cliff to the north and can be shot from the cliff to the south.
Winter Region
In the forest to the west of the Winter Region, you can find the targets in a narrow alley just north of the entrance.
Island Fortress
The Island Fortress can be flown to as soon as you have access to the Skies of Azuma, and is found very close to the entrance to the Spring Region.
The targets themselves are on the south side of the island, with one difficult-to-find one attached to the back of the large mountain on the southern tip.
Forgotten Grove
You’ll travel to Forgotten Grove as part of the main storyline. The targets here are on a branching path to the east.
White Wolf Mountain
You’ll travel to White Wolf Mountain as part of the main storyline. The targets here are quite easy to spot on a wall when you’re heading north on the east side of the map.
Goldblossom Mines
You’ll travel to Goldblossom Mines as part of the main storyline. Here, you’ll need to deal with all the blight in the very large central room, which will require progressing further into the mine and then doubling back on yourself to eradicate completely.
Only once the entirety of the blight is dealt with can you strike all targets.
Upon completing all eight targets, you’ll be congratulated by Yoichi and receive the Yoichi Bow recipe (a very high-ranking bow) and Yoichi’s Target, a placeable item.
