What Is The Moving Box
The Moving Box is a strange entity, resembling a lumpy,gray storage cubewith pale human legs that roams your facility. Despite the unsettling mimic-like appearance, it’snot hostileand does not harm players.
The Moving Box can also follow players intoHome Worldportals.
Instead, it acts as amobile storage unitof sorts, picking up dropped orunattended itemsfound on the floor. It is often treated as acute looting assistant. Sometimes it evenreturns with supplieslike barricades or discarded gear, though what it fetches is sporadic and based on what itemsare in an area.
How To Find The Moving Box
The Moving Box appearsseemingly at random. It can’t be summoned or controlled by players, and there’s no known trigger that guarantees to make it appear. The Boxroams the facilityon its own, and it snaps up items left on the ground. There is ahigher chance for it to appearafter you drop or discard loot, especially in bases under renovation or inventory cleanup. While passive and helpful, it can be annoying when theBox accidentally scoops up your décoror empty containers.
How To Use The Moving Box
The Moving Boxcollects items you drop on the groundand returns to interact with you. Itcan follow the player aroundlike a companion pet and has its own, separate inventory.
