28 Days Later Has Been Hard To Watch

There was backlash when trailers started to drop for 28 Years Later, as not only was 28 Days Later not available on any streaming platforms, but it wasn’t available digitally at all. The only way to watch the first movie when the hype train for the third movie left the station was to watch a physical copy, so unless you were one of the few lucky enough to own a copy, you needed to track one down.

You’d also need something to play the DVD on. You might think you have something that can do that, but look around. You’d be surprised.

28 Days Later was added to digital storefronts shortly after that, following the backlash, so that people could watch it, ready for 28 Years Later. If you held out on paying for it, congratulations, you can now watch it for free. Do it while 28 Years Later is still in theaters too, as based on its reviews, the third movie holds up and is just as good, if not better, than the two films that came before it.

When the first reviews for 28 Years Later dropped last week, it briefly had a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. While it was unable to maintain that as more reviews poured in,its score has settled on a still very impressive 89 percent. That’s two points higher than the original, and a significantly better score than 28 Weeks Later, which scored a 73.
