This announcment trailer also gives us a look at the James Bond leading the game, and he’s much different from Daniel Craig’s take on the character we’ve seen for the last few films.

Here’s Our First Look At 007 First Light
The trailer opens by giving us a rundown of James Bond’s character in First Light. Here, we’re told that this is before he became 007, as he’s currently in the military - albeit struggling to follow orders from his superiors. Despite this, he’s brought on board, introducing us to MI6.
At MI6, we get a glimpse at some of the tech, vehicles, and gadgets at his disposal, which of course, includes a watch that connects to a motorcycle. We haven’t had a look at the gameplay yet, so it’s unclear how this will all come into play, but even if this is a younger Bond, we can expect him to have tools like this at his disposal. It would be hard to imagine 007 without them.
We won’t have to wait too much longer for the gameplay reveal. IO Interactive is hosting its own showcase on June 6, so this coming Friday, giving us a better look at its longawaited 007 game. This comesfive years after the game was initially teased, so there’s a lot of attention on this new Bond game.
007 First Light has only been officially confirmed for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 so far. However, given those platform choices, it’s likely that it’s coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC as well. It’s possible that this will be confirmed at Friday’s showcase, as there’s been no word of any exclusivity deals, or a decision to avoid Xbox for whatever reason.
