The moment Kiuchi declared that the entire Subway was his “for the slammin”, the memes started to pour in from all over the internet. But what started off as dumb fun started to dictate the discourse. I’ve come across several instances of people insisting that Kiuchi is a terribly written character, and it typically boils down to that iconic meme, and the inevitable comparison to Persona 5’s Kamoshida as both are the first major antagonists you encounter across each game....

Wilds had been plagued with game-breaking issues on PC since launch, andan update in June only made things worse, ensuring the game’s player reviews sank further and further....

I’ve always had a soft spot forNew World, but it’s hard to be positive about the game when player numbers continue to fall after a momentary return due to last year’s New World: Aeternum launch. Due to falling player numbers, Amazon Games announced that it was going to shut down its AP Southeast and SA servers. Loyal players would have had to play on NA West servers, or the next nearest available server to their location, and face the likelihood of playing on at least 200 ping and in a different time zone....

The Nintendo Switch 2 hasonly been in our hands for two weeks, but already, players are being banned from using online services after loading third-party cartridges. That means no DLC, no updates, noeShop, no cloud saves — your console is bricked. The cartridges in question are MIGs, which allow you to create and store backups of your legally bought Switch games. Or at least, that’s how they should be used: their manufacturer stresses that they “serve as a backup and development device solely supporting gaming using personal game backups”....

Itencouraged hoarding of raw materials rather than exploringthe world for better gear, except in the case of special items.The Elder Scrolls 4: Obliviondidn’t have this feature, so you had to go out there and find them; orjust use a mod. Hunting for these rare items in Oblivion Remastered is a bit of a task, but you’ll eventually find whatever you’re looking for if you’re determined....

Summary Becoming a vampire inSkyrimwas pretty cool. You get some cool powers and could eventually even become a Vampire Lord. There were almost no downsides, and those that were there were fun mechanics. Unfortunately,becoming a vampireinOblivion Remasteredisn’t a walk in the park. In fact, you might not even know you’re on the path to becoming one. While it does have its plus points,vampirism is actually a curse in Oblivion, with the biggest downside being that sunlight actually damages you....

Summary Oblivion Remasteredhas been performing so well thatBethesdadefinitely doesn’t need to put it on sale. It has gone ahead and done it anyway, launchingan Elder Scrolls franchise sale on Steamthat cuts the price of every single game in the series, some by as much as 75 percent. Before you get too excited, the Oblivion remaster is not one of the games to get a 75 percent price cut. Any money off a game so good, and so popular, is a great deal, though, and the discount is a significant one....
